The program answers questions such as "What do we need an European parlament for?", "Are our oceans too sour?" or "How much sweets can you eat?". The program is moderated by Malin Büttner, Siham El-Maimouni, Robert Meyer and Johannes Büchs, and has received a large number of media prizes.

Kann es Johannes? ...

... is a children's show co-developed by Johannes Büchs, in which children try to teach him sports. In every episode he has 48 hours to learn a sport, as for example trampoline jumping, vaulting or wheelchair basketball. Afterwards, he has to pass a challenge with the question: Can Johannes do it? The show has won the Golden Sparrow, has been nominated for the for the Special Prize for Culture as part of the Grimme Prize and is now in the third season.

... is one of the most successful children's broadcasts on German television. It has existed since 1971 and has won countless prizes. Johannes Büchs is active as a protagonist in „Die Sendung mit der Maus“ for various factual stories. For example, "What is a suction dredger?", "How does a phantom image designer work?" or "How does autonomous driving work?".

... is the morning show at ARD. It is aired on weekly bases with the ZDF Morgenmagazin at ARD and ZDF and deals with issues such as politics, sports, weather, stars, service and culture. In 2012 the ARD Morgenmagazin was awarded the German TV Prize. Johannes Büchs is works at irregular intervals as a live reporter for the show.
